Kitty and I made it home at noon today...
It was so great, to see everyone!
Even got to meet some SOC owners, that I haven't met yet!

Great time!
Penny and I really enjoyed meeting new folks and seeing old buds again. We had quite a Sunline collection from 1988 up to the last models. The food Saturday evening was scrumptous and varied.
The highlight (pun intended) of the evening was the launch of Lynn's sky lantern.
Hope to see everybody again soon.

Andy and I had a wonderful time too. Was really nice to meet everyone and the food was delicious. Got stuck in a little traffic on 66 on the way home, but still got home by three. Look forward to going to some more M&G's soon.

Wendy and I made it home about 7 PM. We ran into a big traffic backup on US340 coming into Harper's Ferry. The traffic was bumper to bumper for nearly an hour. We had so much fun at this Fall M&G that the we just enjoyed the time stuck in traffic talking about the fun weekend. The venue was great in all aspects (big level campsites, close to the river for canoeing and kayaking, nice trails for mountain biking and hiking). The weather was very great and the Fall folliage beautiful. Meeting new club members and seeing others again was nice. The food was wonderful as was the comradery. We look forward to having another M&G next year at Shenandoah River State Park.

Hi
Sounds like there is interest in doing the Shenandoah River State Park M&G in 2013.
What say the Club Members, any thought that October 18,19, and 20 , 2013 would be a good week end for a 2013 M&G ?
Rich

Shenandoah Mountains
Lynn and I just got home today at 4:30pm. We had a good time at the Shenandoah River Meet & Greet and fantastic weather at Shenandoah National Park. I will post pictures of the Meet & Greet later, still unpacking from our 10 day trip.

New Truck
John,
Yes I bought a new Chevy Silverado last year. My Toyota 4-runner had 99,500 miles on it and I wanted something with a larger towing capacity. They gave me a lot of money for my 4-runner and a big discount on the truck so I ordered a new one. The longer wheel base made a big difference when the 18 wheelers passed me. I got the Z71 package and heavy duty tow package 9500 lbs. When my camper is loaded it weighs around 5500 lbs and I get between 9 to 11 mpg depending on the road conditions.
