Okey-dokey - Teach and Penny are in. Coming up Thursday so I can supervise arrivals and critique backing-up techniques (while avoiding scrutiny myself).
There are a couple of SOBs I may entice to join us with stories of the glorious exploits of Sunliners and their noble camp followers (usually sleeping in Arctic Foxes or other such semi-exotic accomodations ).

Did you get to see me backing in at Buttonwood??
That site was tight for the 33' F-311SR... Just a wee bit tighter for the 35' F-344SR!
Are you referring to the 53' Arctic Fox, that we had with the group, this past weekend??

It's gettin' harder and harder to get that Fox in the driveway! It needs to stop growing soon! See Y'all at Shenandoah River!

If this FOX gets much longer, PAM going to be riding in the back, sterring the rear from the "tiller" seat, and it's name is going to changed to "Ahrens-Fox".
PS - For those non-fire department types...the "tiller" seat controls the stearable rear axle on a tractor drawn ladder truck and Ahrens-Fox was a classic fire equipment manufacturer:
Another thing, two drivers who know what they are doing, can put these trucks into spaces a comparable straight truck wouldn't attempt!!!

Steve,
You just gotta stop feeding that "Fox", and it "might" stop growing. I know you think since it's a newborn, it needs to be fed a lot, but a diet might soon be needed or your gonna need an MDT to haul it. Hum, do you have your CDL ??????? Better get the book and start studying.

Just reserved a site for Oct. 18th to the 21st. From there we go to Shenandoah National Park, Big Meadows Campground for 5 days. Looking forward to seeing everyone!! We'll bring a couple sky lanterns again!

Thanks Pam & Steve! That makes it easier than going down though the posts.
Ray & Lynn.... Sky Lanterns would be excellent there right from the campground! Everyone could watch.

As a new member and in the New England area, I think I should be interested in this M@G if it is possible to get in at this late date. How do I get Info?

Hi Jack,
Here is another link that might be easier to use:
Raymond R. "Andy" Guest Jr. Shenandoah River State Park
Hope you can make it.

I wish I could come but I will be in college and probably doing mid-terms or finals that late in the season. I would love to camp in Virginia some day too! Hmm, I hope that maybe I can get my camper road ready and come. I also have to make sure the camper is not too heavy for my Toyota 4 cylinder Rav4.

I will double check but I don't think so. I got the first one asking about my vehicle engine and related information and replied to it. I forgot to look in my manual, my son's had the car at the time doing volunteer work at the park. If it was a reply to the partial information I sent; no but I will look again.
