We just returned from a weekend at Buttonwood. It just isn't the same without all those Sunlines BUT there were about 7 there anyway.
I was checking on our reservation and found out that site 67 is taken - but I don't know by who. Also, Hope & Richard from Maryland will be on site 85 F/S with their 2004 (I think) 1950.

WOW- Mass. will have 3 units representing? Cool- and to think that hutch didn't think we had ANYONE attend from MA yet. Nothing like blowing THAT poor record out of the water!
Hope PA is ready for the influx of Mass-heads!

Well I called last night to make reservations, my name is on a call back list for today (office was closed at the time I called)...we will be coming FSS or TFS - still need to confirm with Leo - as soon as we have a site assigned, I'll let you know.
Decided life is too short and it is time to start enjoying semi-retirement!!!!
OK Confirmed for TFS on Site 57

We camped in Vermont for 2 weeks one vacation and it was wonderful. We only stayed in the State Parks (which have no electricity or water or sewer) but the sites were big and flat, have stone fireplaces, and lots of trees between sites. Even though the state is small, we were able to recharge the batteries driving to the next park.
We like to say we taste tested our way around Vermont - Ben & Jerrys, Cabot Cheese, Lake Champlain Chocolates, cider mills, maple sugar candy, and cheese/jelly places all put out samples for tasting. I highly recommend all of them.

Site Reservations & Availability Update:
I called Buttonwood and confirmed current site reservations and availability for the 2009 Buttonwood M&G.
I've updated the list and map in the Original Post on Page 1 so it is now accurate as of 09/04/08 wrt Sunline Club members who have reserved sites for the 2009 Buttonwood M&G.
If you have a reservation and you don't think what is reported in the list and map in the Original Post on Page 1 is correct, please contact Buttonwood to straighten things out and please let me know if any site changes are made.
For those of you thinking about coming and still need to make reservations.
All Sites in the top area are still available,
except for Site # 92 & Site # 110.
Note that Sites 100 & 101 are cabins. I've updated the map in the Original Post to reflect this.
Site # 92 is currently reserved by a Tim C., which I'm attempted to determine if they are part of the Sunline Group. If anyone has information or knowledge of the people that have this site reserved and if they are part of the Sunline Group, please let me know.
Site # 110 is currently reserved as a seasonal site, but the people may move to a different seasonal site, in the "Park Model Seasonal" section shown on the campground map. So this site may become available in the future.
Nancy, the owner of Buttonwood, has said she's going to try and keep the top area open for us as long as she can.
It would be really cool if we could fill up the whole top area with Sunlines for next year's Buttonwood M&G
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Hutch

WRT the silent auction...do you want donations of used as well as new items? For example, we have a MaxAir that we took off of the roof when we installed the Fantastic Fan. It was only on the roof for 2 years, so it's in good shape. If not, the other option is to have a give and take table, where items that might otherwise be thrown out are offered for free. Or we could do both.

The purpose of the silent auction is to raise money for the web site.
So based on that I would say any item, new or used, that has an intrinsic value that you feel people would be willing to purchase is a valid item to donate to the Silent Auction.
It’s up to the individual to decide. I guess maybe the best test is to ask yourself if you would buy the item if you didn't have it and you were interested in one.
IMO it sounds like your MaxAir vent cover is a candidate for the Silent Auction.
I will be posting information on the Silent Auction donation process next year as it gets closer to the event. At that time and within that post I plan to compile and maintain a list of items that individuals have indicated they will be bringing to the M&G to donate to the Silent Auction. This way attendees will have an idea what will be included in the Silent Auction and can plan accordingly.
Remember, everyone DOES NOT have to donate to the silent auction. So don’t feel like you have to donate.
Also, Jon (aka Sunline Fan) again this year, is planning on emailing RV manufacturers asking for their support and item donations for our 2009 Buttonwood M&G. So if the response is anything like last year, we may have additional items for the Silent Auction from Jon’s efforts.
However, in the mean time, if you’re interested, you can download a silent auction template from the 2009 Silent Auction Donation Form located in the Special Events forum.
Print the form, fill-it out, and bring both the form and your donation to the 2009 Buttonwood M&G.
On your idea of a “Give & Take” table, I think it's an excellent one and I think we’ll try it out next year. We’ll do both a Silent Auction and Give and Take table at the same time. I'll add the "Give & Take" table to our list of planned activities for next year.
Thanks for the idea Pam. And sorry for the long reply to a simple question
Hutch

We just bought a 1997 2670 solaris and we found this site and we really enjoy buttonwood and decided to join and come along. My wife booked site 110 they said it should be available if not they will call and move us. We always ask for that end it is close to the playground the kids don't have to cross the street to play.
site 110 Shawn, Destany, Caven and Mallori Loganton, PA friday and saturday nights.

Henry and Karen will be at Buttonwood FSS. I asked for site 55, but for some reason they didn't want to confirm it just yet. Unless I missed something and someone else already has it, you can probably pencil us in for 55 and I'll confirm with you later by pm.
Henry

Henry & Karen,
Glad to hear you'll be coming. Hutch will have to find a map of Canada now for OP!
I count 56 (with Henry & Karen, and minus 92) would fill up that whole section. Let's do it!
Jon

Henry & Karen,
Glade you're able to join us. I've got you added to the list.
I guess we can truly call the Buttonwood M&G an international event now .

Wow. That is all I can say. It's amazing that this is taking off so quickly. It has to be exceeding all expectations. Lets fill the place.

Lowell,
I agree, the response is awesome.
Only 14 sites to go to fill up the top area with Sunlines
