2009 Buttonwood M&G Itinerary

2009 Buttonwood M&G Rally Itinerary

If anyone would like this itinerary and other hand-outs in printable format so you can print it out and have them in hard-copy prior to your arrival at the Buttonwood Rally, please PM me with your email address and I will forward you any and all hand-outs.
I will email out all hand-outs to those that are interested in receiving them via email approximately 1 week prior to the Buttonwood Rally.
This will help save me some time and printer ink .
Thanks for your help and understanding.

Directions to Buttonwood Campground from the US22/US322 Port Royal Exit
From U.S. Routes 22 & 322, take Route 75 (Port Royal Exit).
At flashing red light, turn left to Mexico,
Go ½ mile, take 1st right after Mexico Market,
follow signs to Campground

Caution - it's very easy to drive by the road to Buttonwood; Chrysler Dealer is before Mexico Mart on the right. Road (300'+/-) after Mexico Mart to Buttonwood Y's off to the right. There is a sign with an arrow, though the last few years it’s been some what obstructed by brush. The road is narrow through the neighborhood. At the end of the road turn right and Buttonwood is on your right.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For people planning to take Rt. 11 through Northumberland to Rt. 15, the Rt. 11 underpass just west of Northumberland will be closed from June 2nd through June 23rd. You'll need to find an alternative route to bypass the closed underpass.

Updates to the itinerary including:

Time of Saturday’s Pancake Breakfast is changed to 8:30 – 9:30 am
. . . To allow time to clean up prior to the Tips & Mods Discussion.

Saturday Evening's Sunline Traveling Museum has been cancelled.
. . . Due to space and weight considerations on transporting of museum artifacts.

Thank-you for your understanding and
sorry for any inconvenience or disappointments these changes may have caused.

Hutch

In lieu of the Sunline Traveling Museum, Jon (aka Sunline Fan) will be showing a movie of the Sunline Factory Tour and a Slide Show of his Sunline museum and artifacts.

The day and time will be Saturday from 7:30 – 11pm.
With a potential 2nd showing or continuation if the 1st showing on Sunday evening.

The specific location will be determined Saturday evening based on weather and other on-going activities.

Possible locations include by the Group Tent Area, behind Site # 112, or in Buttonwood’s rec. hall (if inclement weather).
The exact location will be announced by Jon (aka Sunline Fan) during the Pot-Luck Dinner.

The Sunline musuem presentation will be better than ever, assuming I can get it done in time...

It'll have more stuff included than any display in the past.

I currently have taken 714 pictures, and while some are duplicates, I have a few more to take. I'm waiting for the camera to recharge now.

It will be better than ever, and even moreso from when I typed this.

I have a couple pics that will really interest many people who have a popular particular unnamed model. I never really opened them before to see what they were!

I've finished the PowerPoint now, with the exception of I have to enlarge about 200 pics. As of now, it's 642 slides. I doubt I'll add more, but I could add some of some miscellaneous coaches.

Jon
