Glade you're coming and looking forward to meeting you.
When you get the information, please post back your information (i.e., site #, number and names of people attending, etc.) so we can add you to the list.

Gary & Mary,
Glad to have you coming, and welcome to the club!
Hutch and I are both running lists of who is coming and info about them. We will need a couple more pieces of info:
- The night(s) which you are planning to stay...Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, etc.
- Your home city...you can PM one of us with that info if you don't want it posted...it's for your nametags
- The make/model of your tow vehicle and color, so I can spot you when you come in so we can bring you your welcome info. When there's 3 Sunline's coming in at one time, which is what it seemed like last year every half hour, it's hard to distinguish the coach model from the rest on short notice.
- Are just the two of you attending? If not, we need the names of the other guests for nametags.
Jon

SHAZAAM, 46 Sunlines all in one place, all at the same time, incredible. I am still trying to talk my friend into taking off work to attend with his '94 T-1950. In fact, I try to get anyone owning a Sunline to join our group and attend

No Sites
Shucks - We just decided that the M&G would be a great experience, but just found out all the group sites are taken. Disappointed !

WHAT??????????
We (Hutch & I) have been keeping track of the participants. This surprises me as I see there's still a lot of open sites left in the upper section. I've put a call in to Nancy to find out the scoop, and she will have to call me back.
There's always the river side of the campground- you could make a reservation there and get on a wait list for the main part...there's bound to be a cancellation sometime between now and the M&G.
If you end up on the river side, you are still part of the group but will just have a little longer walk, but you will be closer to the canoeing!

Indy-Jim:
Don't let the upper section being full stop you, even if you have to go Riverside, the walk to the group meeting area wouldn't be much longer than if you were on the far end of the upper area. Several people were in the Riverside section last year and they were not left out In fact, if in fact the upper section is now full, I'm sure by next June, you'll probably be in the middle of the "other" Sunline section.
Like Jon said, ask to be waiting listed for the upper area, a lot of plans will change in the next seven months.

Indy-Jim,
When you contacted Buttonwood, did you let them know you were part of the Sunline group? Did you talk to Nancy?
I, like Jon, am surprised they told you the top is full. When I talked to Nancy in the early fall, at that time there were still 15+ sites open on the top and she indicated that they were going to try and keep most of the sites on the top open for us as long as they could.
I'm anxious to see what information Jon get's from Nancy on his follow-up call to Buttonwood.
As MACK mentioned, the River Side sites are nice and not really that far from the group tent area. Plus if something does open up on top, they will offer to more you, it happened last year (with Frank I believe).

Hutch - Actually, I had not talked to Buttonwood personallly, however, I was going by your inventory listing of the members that had reserved sites, and as I interpreted the listing and bounced the numbers against the map, it appeared that all sites were taken, and I thought the sites above were defined as seasonal sites which would be full anyway. Perhaps I have interpreted incorrectly. Tne riverside sites look inviting, however, my legs would not carry me to far to have to walk over to the other side.
I will contact Buttonwood and see what I can do.
Thanks for your interest.
Jim

Hi Jim,
Sorry if the map is confusing. Any site in the rose / pink color (or whatever color that is) on the map, as far as my knowledge, is still open to be reserved. The sites in yellow are just to show the sites currently reserved by SOC members. It's not to mean only the sites available to SOC members.
So there's still 10 - 15 sites still available on the Top to be selected from and reserved. For example, sites 74 - 77; 59 - 64 should all be open and available.
Edited: 11/27/08 - Happy Thanksgiving
Jon confirmed with Buttonwood that sites 59 - 64 & 74 - 77 are still available.
If you want to be really close to the group tent area, sites 51, 52, & 53 may still be avialable. Though I can't remember what those sites are like.
Call Buttonwood and make your reservations - there's plenty of room for you to join us.
Hope to see you in June.
Hutch

Hope you can make it. That then means we pick up another state too.... We have no Indiana Sunliners yet.
And if you do not want to do the tow over in one day I know several camp grounds about 1/2 way or 3/4 of the way. You are about 4 hours more then I am. On the way over, we drive straight thru, on the way back we camp at a park 3 hours from home as we end up leaving Buttonwood later in the day.
Let me know if you need any places etc.
John

Sweet.....seniority paid off, and I got the consecutive weeks off so we can OFFICIALLY make the trip (and be employed upon return...)
Life'll be good at Buttonwood.....
46 sites (=/-), 13 locations, 1 manufacturer (and a hi-lo )
Oh yeah, I can't wait (I am getting antsy, planned out the route and fuel costs (at today's prices) today).
C'mon June!

On that note, if you're thinking about attending, now is a great time to make reservations!!! If you don't want to commit yet due to vacation time, etc., but still would like to come, please send me a quick PM to let me know. I will be sending out e-mails just after January 1 for the bag contents, and I will need a rough total so I can add in a buffer to know how much I need of each item. I'd hate to run short again like I did last year.

WRT site 51, 52, 53...They are close to the group tent area. The only problem with them is that they are on the only in and out road to the top section of the campground so that you're going to get alot of traffic going by. I also think they're a little smaller than the ones farther from the group area. Buttonwood does rent golf carts for anyone who might have trouble walking the distance. I don't know the fee.

Oh, we had already made the reservations- it's just that now I won't have to find a new job when I got back- did ya really think I'd miss this trip? We were coming one way or another.
Site 102, I think....it's already on the list up on the first page.

Sorry Greg, that wasn't directed at you. I just wanted to encourage others who have not made any reservations yet to do so soon or make their wish to come known. We had like 22 last year when I sent out the requests, so I estimated 30, and we had like 33 or 34, so those bags didn't have everything in them that the rest had. I don't want that to happen again.
Jon

EXCELLENT!!!!
Thanks for the info – I’ll get the list & maps updated.
We're now up to 47 sites; 111 attendees (97 adults; 14 kids) and still growing
13 sites (on top) still open to fill with more Sunlines
When we fill the top, we can start filling the Riverside sites
Hutch
