What size topper do we need to order
I think I read about every post on here, about slide toppers and never found a guide on size.
The slide on our T-320 SR is 161" from front flange to rear flange, while the slide is out. Camping world's topper selector wants us to select which size topper we want. They offer ones that are 162" and 168". Would one that is 168" fit our 320" I'd like to have at least a little overhang, to help keep stuff out.
Thanks!
Gary

Hi Gary,
My SR is 153.75" edge of flange to edge of flange. I got the 162" topper. It works well and has plenty of overhang. You don't want too much because the channel on the coach is only so long. You need at least a couple inches on each end to have adjustment room so the fabric rolls straight on the roller and then have room to drill for your set screws.

Thanks Jon! I'm pretty sure, that our slide falls short of the 44" extension. We'll order the 168" topper from Camping world tomorrow!
I hurt my hip last Sunday, while working in Sunny. That made it VERY difficult to clean the leaves off the top of the slide!

Oh yeah, I think the largest slide Sunline ever had was 36". Maybe a FW one was larger, but I doubt it. I've actually never even heard of a 44" slide, on anything.

We bought a 168" topper today and will have it installed on Thursday. With my hip in the shape it's in, I cannot even think of doing the install myself.
