1985 T1750 20th anniversary edition saved
just got this yesterday. i'll try not to be long winded, and you can ask questions if I miss something. one owner. perfect inside, original floor older couple bought it in 85, then I think he then she passed away. I saw it sitting, for a while, asked about it ,and arranged to buy. water and electric all work ...but all four floor corners need repair ..all across the back, and all across the front, up to the windows are suffering, I don't know from what yet, fridge isn't working, water heater suspect, furnace ?? they had an Olympian 100 catalytic heater installed so I don't know. no ants no mouse dirt, the floor is excellent for 32 years old. no smells. all dry according to the moisture meter so I'm hoping the damage was done before, and it's just a matter of me removing and repairing...oh yeah haha that's all it is !!!the door is gonzo with half of it plywooded over. I'm actually looking forward to that job.it was half covered with lichens that I just scrubbed and washed of to clean it up a bit. the roof has been painted over, but that may have helped a bit. it just seems like older quality inside, and I searched for one like this with all of the windows, and vents.14 in all I think, and the last new 16 foot trailer I looked at had 3 !!!! no AC no microwave, no stereo...perfect.......originla brochure, wheel covers too..pics won't load any one have any ideas ? it says no items match your search on my computer, but I just sent someone some pics ??

i'll try with the pics. I'm sending from my camera through my computer. have already spent 3 full days on the camper. it was full of stuff from the owners.also got a big surprise today, pulled off the bottom front siding, and didn't realize the next seam is up at the window..big piece for a small repair .fridge is out, water heater out, fresh water tank out..too bad all no good. the whole fridge area down past the water heater was gonzo. dry, but all rotted. the vent on roof was at fault I guess, and now I see it migrated to the bathroom walls. the rear corners and wall all need work too. I hope I can post the pics because this is turning out to be some major work..the funky old trans awn has to come down too.the upholstery looks good , but has an oily feel and if you rub it the color comes off. I thought maybe it got ruined by being closed up and hot for a long time. any thoughts on that ? thanks for the interest I can't wait to see whats around the next corner.the whole front wall moves in and out if you push at the bottom of the window, but the rot looks to be from the corner moulding leaking. i'll soon find out if the framing is broken , or just loose some how.

one more thing . after getting a hernia lifting the fridge out, as it had fallen inward with the whole cabinet area being rotted, I find I couldn't get it out the door? the fins on the side were too wide, but they didn't seem to want to come off.

It sounds like you have a good restoration project underway....
If the pics will not cooperate, let us know we can help get that sorted out. This sounds like the start of a really good learning post.
The trans am upholstery, ah no. I have not had that issue before. Don't know what to tell you on that one. Need an old car restoration buff to help on this one.
Thanks
John

oh bother....
Well, learn something new every day on Sunline Owners Club!!
Well I already goofed up a "Space Age" camper not knowing what it was and now the "Trans Am" awning.... What will be next! Wonder if General Motors knows about this Trans Am thing...
It seems Dometic made the awning. http://www.andrewvanis.com/Vanagon/D...102518.002.pdf
Thanks for letting me know
John
