Wardrobe Mod
Actually this isn't a wardrobe mod, but the addition of oodles of hanging space in the bedroom area. For long trips we found the 2 small bedside wardrobes to be inadequate. Once we get a couple of jackets in there it would be full. And Mr. Tweety put shelves into his, so has no hanging space any more. We installed a hanging rod all the way across the foot of the bed, from one side of the trailer to the other. It's anchored in studs at the sides, and with 2 boards on the ceiling that are also in studs. We only hang clothes over the bed, in order to leave the walkway open on the sides. The clothes hang over our feet while we sleep, and provides the added bonus of blocking light from the living area. (ie. the radio, CO detector etc.) I just think of the bedroom as a big walk in closet now
When we're traveling I stretch a bungie cord between the 2 ceiling supports atop the hangers to keep them from falling off.

Neat idea Pam. Thanks for sharing. May need that some day as both our hanger closets have draws in them.
We do have an expanding pole we put int he shower. Rests on the extended profile of the upper part of the shopper. However you need to take it in and out and we do not fill it with very much weight.
I also see your insulated head board cover. Nice looking.
John

Those were standard in 2006 and 2007, when they deleted the bed windows.
I'm not a fan, simply because the the top cap isn't held on well on mine. In fact, it has fallen off numerous times. There's just no meat on it to screw into. I do like the window though, I'll admit.

Yes the headboard came with the trailer, but it didn't extend all the way down and the area behind the mattress was always damp. We added the foam board side to side all the way across and behind the mattress and it makes a tremendous difference. I'm glad we don't have the window over the bed. We had that before and even with curtains closed my head was always freezing.

I like the window in ours ... but would love to figure out a better window covering option for it, possibly thermal curtains.

Agree completely. Too many negatives, love not having the window!
