Speaker Locations

Hi,

We have 1994 T2251. It has stickers on the ceiling noting speaker wire locations. The question I have is, should there be 2 locations in the rear? There is only one sticker located in front of the bathroom door. Will be installing a stereo and speakers this spring. I probably could look at the wiring bundle in the cabinet above the couch to answer my question, but the members on this list are so knowledgeable I thought I would pose the question. Thanks for your time.

Joe

Hi Joe,

I had a '94 2251 too, and it had a sticker for a rear speaker in the bunk area.

Here's a pic, with an arrow pointing to the sticker:

Thanks Jon. I have a feeling the PO's young ones peeled that sticker off. I knew this group was going to be helpful to us the moment I found it. Will get cracking on my project as soon as we get our trailer out of storage. Hope I can be so helpful some time soon. Thanks again!!

Hi Joe,

Glad we could help!

I see you're in MI. I know there are a number of 2251's around, but which picture does your coach look more like (just look at the fronts, ignore window patterns):

I'm trying to figure out if you have the one I had. The first picture is the one I had, the second is what it originally looked like before I put all the new decals on.

Hi,

I am pretty sure our decals are the originals like shown in your second picture. I have attached a picture that you can make the front of the trailer out in. We purchased the TT from a couple in Brighton, spring of 09.

Oh yeah, that does look like the original. And it looks in really good shape too! The reason I replaced mine is because they were just in terrible shape, but Sunline didn't have the originals still at the time, so I had to go to the newer style.

By the way, you should look into the Midwest Meet & Greet down in Hillsdale in May!

If you look carfully at the cealing you may be able to figure out where the speaker should be by looking for staples. There should be a piece of half inch particle board with a hole cut in it for the speaker stapled to the cealing. I would think it should be there even if the speaker is not. The only staple you should be able to find in the cealing would be for the speaker blocks. They would only be like eighth inch staples so they may not jump out at you.

I have the same sticker on my T1700 and wires in the cabinet above the sink I'm a bit adverse to poking holes in the overhead wonder if the sticker are in the center of where the hole should be?
