Maxx Air vent brackets touching roof

Just installed Maxx Air II vent covers on our T1950 that we just picked up. This is our first camper and after installing the vent covers as instructed by the Maxx Air video I was pleased with how easy it was. Then after looking at it again I becamed concerned that the dimples on the bottom of the brackets could rub a hole in the rubber roof. Am I just parinoid or what? Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

Those dimples should be the smooth heads of the carriage bolts that go through the bracket and then through the base flange of the MaxxAir vent itself. Mine is much the same.

I don't think there is enough movement between the bracket and the membrane to worry about it rubbing through.

I suppose it would be possible to slide a bit of rubber gasket material between the membrane and the bolt head if you felt there was any chance of a rub.

Actually the TV antenna rubs on the roof a lot more and is something else to check when it is up--it all does depend on how much you travel.
