Sunline STIFF bedspread question
This might be the dumbest question anyone has asked to date, but here goes. Has anyone washed their Sunline bedspread and gotten it to be any softer ? (as in soft enough that it doesn't always end up on the floor every night) I like the way it matches the window dressings but it's really not at all functional as a blanket. It won't fit in my washer, so I'd have to go to the laundry mat and use an oversized machine. I'm just wondering if it will help.

Pam & Steve,
We had the same problem with the stiff bed spread when we bought our coach. As you mentioned, it won't fit in the household washing machine so we took it to the laundry mat and washed it. It made a big difference and didn't appear to harm the spread any.

Pam,
We bought a regular comforter that matches the inside colors very well. It is much nicer on those cold nights than the bedspread that came with the coach.

I slept under that comforter that came with the trailer one night and it was so stiff it kept flopping up my face. I took it off, replaced it with an extra wide blanket that matched the room's colors, and then cut up the comforter and made shoe bags, hanging pockets inside wardrobe doors, and a few other things for the trailer. You can see pictures of some of these at my post in Modifications dated March 4, 2008 (Modifications to T2499).

We have never used the bed spread, ever. It came off the day the camper came home. It is not a very comfy thing. We have a comforter on top as the bed spread/blanket.
Since right now we have 2 exact blues ones.... One will go with the T2499 when we sell it. It will be like new, as it is new and never used. The other will stay in the basement packed up for a real long time.... The T310SR is not going anywhere other then camping with us....
PS this is not a stupid question. We could not sleep on the bed either until 3" of quality memory foam came on top of it.
John

Well you now have the camper again, go camp out in the back yard and you can reset the date.... Hey even camping in the back yard is cool in a Sunline

Bedspread
Our bedspread came off after our first trip and has never been back on. I have made several quilts for the camper and have more fun changing the quilts. We also did the same thing as John and put a 3" memory foam mattress on top of the regular mattress. The best sleeping we ever do is in the camper!!
