looking for options

i am looking to sell my 1979 sunspot , i think it is in excellent condition.
i have it listed on the classified section of this site. I live in Colorado and feel it will sell locally. my question is, i am not really sure what is worth?
I have it listed for $9200 . my question to the form is, am i too low, too high in my pricing, i appreciate. Any options from the group
thanks for help

Hi Bob,

Your Sunspot does look nice, but it isn't in original looking condition. Major visual modifications have to also be attractive to a new owner. Although yours aren't significant, they can still make or break.

Even for a completely original Sunspot, I think you're very high. I recall seeing Sunspots in the $5,000 range (pre-Covid) for clean ones with all of the original features still in tact inside. Sunline didn't build many of them, around 100 from what I'm told, but they also have a very niche market. That being said, they do seem to always be in high demand with people looking for them.

I'd be curious what others think of value too.
