New to us Sunline T-1661

Hello everybody, we have finally gotten our first camper home and began cleaning and smoke-checking everything. So far all the lights work, interior is in good shape and mechanicals are ok for now. We found water intrusion on the right rear corner, the rear awning support is pulling out of the siding. We covered it with a tarp until we can formulate a repair plan. The camper is a 1985 T-1661, came with all paperwork and brochures, etc. It had a replacement spare tire cover (found the receipt) that is rotten and faded, but it will wait. The roof unit has a/c and heat. We look forward to chatting with everyone, thanks! Philip & Jessica

More pictures. Surprisingly comfortable for a small camper. I'm glad we didn't decide on a popup.

Welcome to SOC. Nice find. Yes, We love pix also.
I can relate to not wanting a popup. When we got back into camping we bought a nice popup, it even had bump outs for kitchen and dinette. Well to make it short it lasted 4 outings. To much up and down and tuck, tuck, tuck and tuck again to close it up.

Thanks everyone. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. I wanted something I could take a nap in without having to assemble. It needs a little bit of work, but mostly I need to figure out how everything works...lol. Campers are new to me. Phil

Welcome Phil. What a great find. Maybe next June you can come join us for our 10th annual M&G at Buttonwood campground. It is only about 1 1/2 hours from you. We meet for a weekend with lots of fun events and get to meet friends from this wonderful group. There is a posting with information about the event under Meet and Greets. You will enjoy the group of people here, they are a wealth of information and a very friendly bunch. We look forward to meeting you.

Very nice camper! We have a 1985 also and just love it. It was our first real camper after several pop-ups, so we know how you feel. You will find lots of nice helpful people here, and we love pictures.

I show Buttonwood as 3.5 hours by car. We may have to look into that next year, depends on how much we enjoy the camping part...haha.

Hello!! Do you still have this camper? I just purchased the same exact one in great shape. However no paperwork. Was wondering if you were able to tell me the weight on yours. I can’t seem to find anything online about these. My layout is identical to yours but my refrigerator is different. I’m assuming mine is the same model. I’d love to learn more about them. We are using ours for the first time this weekend and really looking forward to it!!

Hi Holli,

If you have a T1661 and know the year, you should be able to find the brochure. Just pull up the brochure for the year of your Sunny.
