Toilet flush clogged
On our T2553 (2006) we have a flushing problem in that the waste and paper are hung up halfway to the holding tank. We use "campers" TP and it still does not get to the holding tank. ANY suggestions would be welcomed.
Yes, we use lots of water in flushing and it doesn't matter, it still hangs up!

I’m assuming you mean the solid waste does not flush, it gets clogged part way down the hole to the tank.
I actually picked up this tip from Trailer Life. Bob Livingston posted it.
When you need to use the toilet for solid waste, lift the foot peddle up. This will allow water to fill in the bowl and not flush. Do this and put about 4 to 5” in the bowl. Then take 2 sheets of connected TP paper and make and X with the paper that floats on top of the water. Do your business and then flush as normal. The paper sort of creates a path to let everything slide right down. It works….
And naturally with Trailer Life they gave a pitch to sell a product just for this…. The one and only Happy Bowl

EDIT to add more. If you mean that even doing no 1 the paper sticks to the big bowl, well yes that happens to us too. More for my DW. Our only answer to that is the sprayer we have. Our 2004 Sealand toilet has a bowl sprayer, looks like a kitchen sink sprayer at home. You give it a squirt when the pedal is flushed. For campers that do not have the sprayer, Paul (Pwbo1) created a tie into the fresh water line and adding a home sink sprayer. I think he may have added a valve too. He may be along to explain how he did this on his new camper.
Hope this helps
John

We had the same problem in our 1996 2553..figured out that the tank was too shallow causing not enough clearance between the end of the flush tube and the bottom of the tank..I mean only about 2 1/2 to 3 inches...the selling dealer referred us back to Sunline..they were not happy about my insistance to replace the tank at their cost..I really hope this is not what you are dealing with because the replacement of a larger tank created quite a big project..fortunately it did solve the problem. By the way..the selling dealer did say they would fix it if Sunline refused. If this is a recent dealer transaction I would contact them and demand resolution to this...it won 't resolve itself any other way! Janalee

The sprayer simply tied into a water line ahead of the toilet flush valve so I can spray without flushing. I was able to use a shark bite fitting. It's a real handy inexpensive utility.
One thing I do before heading to the dumping station is take a 5 gallon jug and fill the bowl a couple of times and give it a couple of good "power flushes".
The new unit has a tank sprayer and the few times I can hook up a hose it seems to clean out the tank nicely. That's a worthwhile option.

Thank you all for the suggestions, we are getting ready for 2013 campouts at this time.
Land Between the Lakes (Kentucky) should be great in May. Also, looking forward to our favorite spot in Brown County State Park, Indiana in the Fall.
Thanks again for your help.

To kinda echo pwb01, before we leave the camper for a long period of time, we hold down the flush pedal and pour a 5 gallon bucket of water down the toilet with the dump valve open to "rinse" the black tank. My camper is permanantly positioned, but I think that a 5 gallon flush as the "finale" at the dumping station would be a good idea.

I just struck me that after the natural course of actions here, we have a do-do lasagna.
That is a happy bowl.
