TV Mounting
Does anyone have the Sunline factory mounted TV on the side of the wardrobe? Did they put support behind the mounting gizmo in the wardrobe? That wall seems awfully thin to support a jiggling TV while driving down the road. Or if you mounted it yourself, what did you do?

I have the factory mounted TV, but haven't examined how sturdy it is yet since I've only had trailer for a week. I went on about a 200 mile trip this past weekend on some pretty back roads and its still hanging there.

When you get a chance, can you look inside the wardrobe and see if they added any support? We appear to just have a couple pieces of luan for walls. Maybe that's enough?

We mounted a 17 inch flat screen and there is support behind the wall although i'm not exactly sure what it is. All i did was screw the mounting bolts threw the wall completely threw then cut them off inside the closet and covered the cut bolts with some self stick velcro so the bolts could not scratch the table top. It worked well and never moved in over a year, very simple to do.

It seems I had been knocking on the wall below where we'll mount the TV and that area is hollow. Up high where the TV goes it sounds like the wall is solid. I am assuming there is a support there.

Our television was factory mounted and I don't see any sign of bolts on the inside of the closet. If you open the closet door and put one hand on the wall inside the closet and the other on the wall outside the closet it seems there are two seperate panels...a heavier piece on the outside and a thinner piece on the inside. I think there is a stud (maybe) between those two pieces near the top. The stud-finder gizmo says there is, anyway. I can get measurements to the stud if you need them.

If you can measure where the TV mounting square is that would be great. We have a stud finder gizmo but a measurement would be a nice double check. Now, if you have to go to some storage facility I don't want to cause anyone a bother, but if it's in the driveway like ours that would be great.

I'm happy to see to say the B*R*Q lives in the driveway...
The bracket the TV is mounted on runs vertically. The screws are 11 1/2" from the front and 15 3/4" from the wall. There are two screws in the bracket..one at the top (5 1/2" from the ceiling) and one at the bottom (11 1/2" from the ceiling.) There is also a strap to secure the TV while traveling, and the screws for this are 1 1/2" towards the wall from the bracket screws. Hope this helps (and isn't too confusing)!

Mounting is tomorrow's project. It feels like there's a BIG block of solid wood in the whole top half of the wardrobe wall. Will keep ya'll posted. Thanks for the measurements ttfn

TV mount
Pam and Steve....
My TV came with the SE. No bolts showing in the closet as others are saying so there has to be something solid between the walls. I was so pleased to find out the DVD player was in the side of the unit.

TV mounting
I bought a mounting arm and a 19" flat panel at target. I glued a 1/8" metal strip to the inside of the wardrobe for support and screwed the mount to the outside of the wardrobe cutting off the protrusions on the inside. It works very well but during travel I take the tv off and lay it on the cushion so it doesn't bounce around.
