Have you ever been, and is it any good? Is it inside or outside?

We're going tomorrow and hoping that some of the newest TT designs will be in the show so we can see them. And we want to see what products are available from the vendors. It's a fun thing to do in February while we wait for the season to begin.

Well, I mentioned to Gary that maybe we could go the the RV show this sunday. Guess it will not happen, as he doesn't think it would be good for my ankle. OH, what happened to my ankle ??? Last friday morning while I was assisting one of my students getting off the bus(remember I drive the "short bus"), well, he decided that he wasn't getting off, now mind you he is only in 1st grade, but he FROZE, would not budge of the top landing, so I stepped back up onto the bottom step to get him to focus more on me so I could get him off. Well, when he decided he WAS going to get off, he just leaped/jumped onto me, which knocked me off balance and out the door I went backwards with the student on top of me. We landed on the ground, he was not hurt as he landed on top of me, but I really rolled my right ankle over. Been hobbling around all week.
So, Gary said lots of walking, trying to get in and out of rigs, etc. would not be a good idea.
If you get to go, I'll be jealous

Sorry to hear about your ankle. The wilderness first aide for a sprained ankle is RICE. No, not like Uncle Bens....
Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.
Gary is having you work on the R part. And no, Elevation does not mean climbing in and out of campers....
Hope you feel better soon.
John
If you do the RICE treatment as soon as the ankle is sprained, studies have shown a large reduction in healing time. Backpacking, teenagers (Scouts) and sprained ankles a common thing regardless of how much we teach. Joey, don't jump over the log with your pack on, Sorry Mr. Barca I didn't think....

We went to the show on Saturday, picked up a few accessories for Sunny and a few leads on campgrounds we want to check out.
But, it's nice to know somethings never change.........
From Jons discussion in the Toyota/Sunline thread....
to paraphrase the chesacorvworld salesman (may have even been a Factory rep) "Your Dodge 2500 won't have any problem handling this Cedar Creek Silverback 35QB4 fiver."
Real World:
2004 Dodge 2500 Club Cab 4x4 with HO CTD: Max Trailer 13,050 lbs.
2011 Cedar Creek Silverback 35QB4: 12,176 Dry; 15,500 Max; 1947 pin weight.
No "problem", unless you actually want to put something in the trailer!!!!!
Oh and with approximately 875 lbs to play with, a full water tank and water heater adds 650 lbs. that leaves 225lbs. which propane and battery will put a dent in, I wonder if he was figuring the truck might actually need someone to drive it!?!?!?!!?
We really liked the trailer, but I told mdfiregal that we could only get the trailer when I could have a Mack to pull it, to which she replied "when we win the lottery and can afford the trailer, the truck won't be a problem!!" So, I don't think we'll be joing the alumni club anytime soon!!
Mack,

Well .... he did say "handling", he didn't actually say pulling it or camping did he.
