Scarbrough Maine campground

We found an outstanding camp ground right in the middle of the Scarborough marsh in southern Maine. It's called Wild Duck campground it is adult only and if it was a hotel it would be 5 stars. Super clean, quiet and peaceful right in the middle of a very vibrant area of southern Maine close to Pine Point, Portland and Old Orchard Beach. We live in Maine but we intend to spend several days during the off season I’ll commute to work from there and save 45 minutes drive from home! There is a duck pond I’m not sure I would call the ducks particularly wild they seem pretty friendly and there is a trash can full of cracked corn to feed they with near by so why would they leave? 30 amp service (50 for the big stuff) water, cable TV at each site and WiFi

I have heard a few people mention Wild Duck as being good. The last several years we have stayed at Hiddn Pines in OOB for a couple of nights on our way to Acadia. We may have to look into Wild Duck.

Of course we expect pictures when you stay there.

Hi

We are headed to Arcadia over Labor Day and this Wild Duck CG looks like it maybe a good way point to spend a couple of days.

I noticed in a recent review on RV Park Reviews that the sites are very small/ narrow. Are they all that way or just in different parts of the campground?

They are what some might call small but you do not feel cramped I own 80 acres of land so that's saying a lot, for the big rig stuff they are all pull through and I saw some very big rigs in there (48' or larger). The camp ground is not large in general but to me every spot was pretty nice lots of large pines and plenty of shade some with outstanding views of the mash. What I liked was it is spotless and quiet.
