Personal Comments:
Excellent facilities and location. Easy walk, bike, or drive to town. Many recreational activities in area. Anza Borrego State Park all around. Circles by beautiful mountains. Golfing if you choose, we hear is great. Many organized golfing events.
The laundry room was very nice and was well maintained. A very large number of machines. Both washer and dryer were $1.25. The Park is run by Camp Hosts which provides a very personal touch. The Park is only 5 years old, so everything is in excellent condition. There are mostly big rigs, with many long term people. We stayed for 10 days. Unfortunately, our stay began with the loss of our 13 year old cat, so my opinion was dampened a bit. There are coyotes very close, which we did not know of until our cat was missing. We would have enjoyed our time much more if this tragedy had not occurred. Overall, it is probably the nicest park of this type we have stayed in due to the activities and people.
There are other parks, less expensive in the area, along with free boondocking anywhere in the State Park. Had we brought our generator the boondocking would have been great fun.
