Personal Comments:
There is nothing wrong with this park, especially for only $10 a night. It has a nice stream flowing right along the back side and it's only minutes from Downtown. Our only problem with it was for the 2 days we stayed here, it rained non-stop. Every time we would leave the area, it would be nice every where else? The area seemed like it held a cloud above it on the backside of the mountain?? The slots are very close together, so plan on getting cozy with your neighbor, or spending lots of time in town. For $10, you cant complain much and it's the closest campground to the downtown area.
I'd only stay here again if nothing else was available at Lake Catherine State Park, which is about 20 minutes out of town, but much nicer and right on a beautiful lake! This campground was more like a place to stop for the night or just leave the camper to go Downtown Hot Springs
