Personal Comments:
When the workers are so friendly I hate to say anything negative, but we really didn't care for the size of the sites, or the extra $2 for cable. Our neighbor's gathering area was literally 3 feet from our bedroom window. Luckily they abided by the 11:00 quiet hour. Other than that the campground was nice. Our site backed up to the creek which was really pretty and would be great if you were into fishing. This is a great location if you're going into Gettysburg. We might come here again but stay in the back section where there are only water/electric hookups since that area was virtually empty. They have a cute mini golf course that no one was using, and 2 nice shuffleboard courts. There are a few seasonals but not many and they are neat and tidy. It's too bad the sites are so small because otherwise this place is very nice.

Pam & Steve,

I really appreciate the weight you give to campsite size in rating a campground.

We've had similar experiences in years past in a few other privately owned parks. Since I retired in 2003, our camping has been exclusively in state parks here in New York where campsite size and placement has never been an issue for us.

We're headed to the ADK M&G this week at Nicks Lake SP. The sites there are large and separated from each other by at least 50' of woods. I like that.
