1995 T-2970 Entry Door Lock/ Latch Assembly

I have a 1995 Sunline Solaris which has a red knob for the lock/unlock position which broke after 28 years. I need to locate either that knob, if possible or the entire latch assembly otherwise. If anyone could point me in the right direct with a part number or universal application and site where I can purchase on, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get a chance to confirm if you have a Fastec (FIC) lockset?

PS, if by chance yours is not a Fastec, and you cannot find any brand on the lockset you have after taking it apart, if your measure the cutout in the door the lockset fits in, we may be able to help find you a lock to fit.

I didn't see any F I C or Fastec stamped on any part of either handle, inside or outside. It's too bad that I'm not able to locate just the deadbolt plastic lever replacement handle off of a stripped for parts Sunline. I guess if I'm unable to get that part, my brother will continue to use pliers to turn the deadbolt inside. I try to measure the cutout over the next couple of days and provide that measurement. Thanks for taking the time to help.

I did manage to get the cutout measurement from the inside with the lock plate removed and the opening measures 2 15/16 inches wide by 3 and 3/4 inches high. I hope this helps. Please note there are 2 keyed slots on the outside of this door handle assembly.

This may help. Your measurements line up with what appears to be a somewhat standard RV entry door lock setup.

These 2004 to 2007 Sunline door dimensions below in the pics fit the Fastec 43610 series locket. If your measurements are the same for the door frame plunger, you can get a new complete Fastec lock set if you have no other option. I do not know where to get individual parts, other than keys, for these RV door locks. If you get a new lockset, the keys will change from your current lock. The kit gives two sets of new keys, and RV dealers have blanks to cut extra keys if needed.
