I wouldn't recommend removing the old striping. What year/model is your coach? It's one thing to remove the old logos, but striping would be a real problem. I've never done it and I never plan to.
Do you want to remove logos too, or just the striping? If your pulling off logos, the best way is a heat lamp, and just pull real slow on the logo.

striping
the striping is peeling and its pretty consistent throughtout. (not just spotty). I've read where auto detailers can replace them. Just looks raggedy which doesnt reflect the interior which is beautiful. I have a 91 T1700 Solaris.

If most of the striping is peeling, it should be pretty easy to remove the rest, and since your trailer isn't very long, it won't require as much work as a longer TT would.
Since yours is a '91, do you plan on pulling off the small stripes near the bottom (from bottom to approx. 12" up)? I think those would be really easy to remove, especially with a good adhesive remover to break down the adhesive behind the stripe. If you plan on removing the main stripes, be careful that you don't scrape the paint off underneath. Even if you replace the striping, which I would highly recommend, I would think the uneven spot where the paint would be missing would show up through the stripe.
I'm sure many auto detailers have the ability to replace striping, but I doubt they can easily match the colors. If you decide to remove the old before contacting someone about new striping, make sure to save/take pieces of each color with you to match colors. In order to get an accurate color sample, you may have to remove some exterior part, such as a refer vent cover, to get a piece of non-faded striping.
Good luck in your striping search,
Jon

On a past vehicle that I had lettered, and then needed to remove the lettering, I rented a good heat gun from the local rental place. You hold the heat gun about 8 to 10 inches away and let the sticker get a little hot, then it should just peal right off.
I dont know what you're peeling it off of, if it's fiberglass or aluminum, but just be careful to not allow the heat gun to get too close to the surface. It'll actually melt the sticker if you let it sit on there for too long.
Good Luck
Pat

Good point, Pat. The same distance and time goes for the heat lamp too. If the lamp is too close or on too long, it will make your life harder when pulling it off.
