Dexter axle flip kit on a F21
Finished installing My Dexter Axle flip kit. it was pretty easy. not much welding. Now the camper sits 5" higher and should ride level with My 2019 F250 4WD..

Hi Thad,
Good to hear your axle over/under conversion went well. Your camper looks to be in good shape from the one picture.
Happy camping this season.
John

You for sure have wheel well clearance.
Did this give you enough bed rail clearance to the camper for turns?
Thanks
John

flip kit
I actually towed the camper home with my f250 and it had enough clearance for turning then.... but the camper was absolutely not level.
The 8 foot bed helps with clearance.

Thad:
I am planning to do this as well. I have a 1987 F2353, which is similar to your model. My tow vehicle is a 2007 Silverado 2500HD Classic, that I acquired last year. It sits higher than my former vehicle, a 2000 Silverado 2500. Just like you I can tow it without it hitting the bed rails but it doesn't tow level. Where did you get your axle kit?

Its a Dexter axle flip kit. I bought it on Amazon. its was a pretty easy process. the hardest part was dragging the axles out from under the camper to weld the new spring pads on, and then getting them back under the camper!!!
