tv question

What is needed to watch basic tv while camping. such as local news and local programing. we can watch movies with nexiflex . We have an antenna. Do I need a dish??? do I need a monthly package of some sort???

Depending on where you camp you need to start with, an antenna & should be able to get limited local stations......if you camp in very remote areas you MAY have to go a step further!

Nope just the antenna I'll assume it's a crank up look at the other campers when you get where your going and see where there's are pointed that helps. Don't forget to turn on the antenna switch.

If you're lucky, you'll be near a broadcast tv station. If you get a dish you will need a monthly plan. That monthly plan could include local stations (sometimes an option) but local is where you live not where you're camping. I use DVD's for movies and AM or FM radio for news and weather and/or NOAA weather for local weather. It's rare I get broadcast tv reception and not always cell reception for internet.
