2014 WNY M&G Pot-Luck Dinner Sign-Up
.
2014 WNY M&G Pot-Luck Dinner Sign Up
Hello to everyone attending the 2014 WNY Meet & Greet @ Southwoods RV Resort.
This post is to inform everyone of Saturday night’s Pot-Luck Dinner and to provide a way for individuals to sign-up / identify (via a reply to this post) what they would like to bring as a dish to pass.
As has been done at other M&Gs, grilling will be by your own choice, and people can sign-up to bring an entrée as their dish to share / pass .
Saturday night’s Pot-Luck Dinner will consist of:
Everyone is to:
> provide their own drinks and place settings,
> bring a dish to pass.
> grilling by their own choice – but at previous M&Gs the shared dishes has provided more than enough food.
Dishes to share / pass may include (see sign-up list below):
> Entrées
> Salads & Side Dishes
> Desserts
Suggested Serving Size of Shared Dishes: since there’s currently 13 sites, 26 people I would guess that enough to serve 6-8 people should be sufficient.
We do not have a gathering / eating / camp fire site this year, so we’ll have to figure out where we’ll be eating when we get there.
If allowed, we may be able to setup tables across the street from the M40 - M36 sites.
In case of inclement weather – if anyone has a large canopy that they are willing to bring, please let me know. I’ll be brining a 10x10 EZ-up, but that won’t fit everyone.
Pot-Luck Dinner Schedule:
> We’ll plan to start eating dinner at 6 pm.
If anyone has any food allergies, please post them so everyone knows and can take them into consideration when making their dish to pass.
Please sign-up for what you would like to bring as a dish to pass as a reply to this post.
I’ll try to keep a running list to make it easy to identify what slots are available to sign-up for.
Thanks – looking forward to seeing everyone in September.
Hutch
Please let me know if I've recorded anything incorrectly

Hello everyone! Is the wny meet and greet in Byron, NY? I'm a newbie here and would love to bring a fruit salad if we can get away for the weekend! I just need to know where the campgrounds are and who to contact to make arrangements! Also, is it pet friendly and do people bring their music?
Thanks

Put us down for Baked Cider Chicken.
We can not attend the dinner or grab bag due to a family event. We'll need someone to be our proxy.
We also can bring folding tables. Let me know if you need them.

Bobo,
If you guys can't attend the pot luck dinner, you don't need to contribute.

Pot Luck Dinner Plans Update
We're less then 2 weeks away from this year's WNY M&G
The specific location for our Pot-Luck dinner is still tbd (since we decided last year not to be a M&G site).
Let's plan on discussing the location for the Pot Luck dinner during the Friday night Ice Cream Social.
We will have a better idea of what the weather may be like and what the sites are like.
The fall back plan will be to have the Pot Luck dinner at our site - site M38.
However, there's open area across the road from the M40 - M34 sites that we could ask the campground if we could use it, but not sure if it's level enough.
Where ever we have it we can move picnic tables from other sites to our site or the selected location. We'll probably need a total of 4 or 5 picnic tables.
If anyone has an EZ-Up and they have room to bring it, please bring it along.
Currently there are 26 people attending the Pot Luck dinner.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Hutch
