2010 Buttonwood M&G Bike Ride
2010 Buttonwood M&G Country Roads Bike Ride Information & Sign Up
When? Sunday after breakfast, we'll be leaving at 10am
Who can go on the bike ride? Anybody can go, but children must be accompanied by a parent.
Where do we meet? Meet at Site # 83.
What type of bike? A road bike is best, but any decent bike will do.
Where will the bike ride go? The bike ride will start and end at the Buttonwood Campground.
The ride will follow some of the back country roads in the area going through the village of Port Royal and across a covered bridge.
See a map of the proposed route at the bottom of this post.
How Long will it be? The bike ride will be ~11 miles in length on mostly flat roads.
There will be an opportunity to turn around and head back to Buttonwood about ½ through the route (just after the Covered Bridge)
What should I bring? It’s probably a good idea to bring water, a snack, and your camera.
We strongly suggest you wear a bike helmet
Here’s a map of the planned route. The specific route may change slightly.
