No need to give up camping yet... As long as the white stuff is not flying there is still a lot of opportunity left.
While you went more south west, we went north east. However you have us beat mileage wise. We went a whopping 20 miles north east to Delaware SP...
Saturday night/Sunday AM it went down to 20F. The upgrade insulated tank compartment was at 46F when it was 20 outside. So we where toasty inside complete with water on board. Was pleased on how the winter upgrades have worked out so far. Now hopefully the white stuff stays away so we can keep using it... Last year it was so rotten with the white stuff we never made it out to try out the upgrades.
And I was shocked we had so many in the CG. There where 9 camper setups. 1 Tent, 1 5er, 4 PU's and 3 TT's including us. Trust me, there is no rush at the dump station.....
Sunday was really nice. It was up in the high 50's. Bummer had to come home.
And even if you go out dry, a weekend get away can go a long way with the thought of waiting all the way until spring....
Glad your trip went off well
John
