I found a towel ring, paper holder and (I think) a toothbrush holder still in the original plastic bags in a drawer when we bought our camper. The original owner said he didn't want to put holes in the walls and neither do I so I bought a (paper towel) toilet paper holder from a crafter at "Shipshewana on the Road". I don't have a photo of it, but found instructions for making a similar one (photo below) at
The RunnerDuck Plant Name Tags, step by step instructions..
You could decorate with just about anything - thin wooden cutouts can be found in any craft department or you could just paint a design on, use transfer decals, etc. Maybe instead of a birdhouse, you could make it an outhouse by painting a black crescent shaped moon and not adding the small dowel/perch.
The front of mine is just a piece of wood about 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 3/4 with thin wooden pine trees glued/attached with tiny finishing nails and what had been a white moon peeking out from behind the trees. I painted the moon yellow to make it a sun so it ties in with the decals on our 1997 T-2363.
Mine doesn't have a knob on top of the dowel but I've seen some that do. The piece on front of one was cut into the shape of an apple and had a 3D apple knob.
I put a 3-inch strip of Velcro on the bottom along the left and right sides and stuck it to the countertop. Drop two rolls of paper on and don't worry about running out.
