As promised, here are some of the 231 pictures we took on our "Sunnymoon"
Kitty was very anxious to go to the Ripley's aquarium... Not long after we got there, I figured out why... Someone spent a LOT of time flirting with her. I even got a picture of him in action:
After that, Kitty decided she wanted to pet some stingrays.. She loved it!
We took 111 pictures, just at the aquarium!
Next day brough a trip to Cades Cove.. It's a one-way and one-lane road, that takes you on an eleven mile loop.
Along the way, Kitty spotted a fawn and it's momma.
After seeing the deer, we came up on a lot of people that were stopped along the road. I had no idea what was going on, but could see a lot of people pointing into the trees along the road. I stopped and went to see what was happening and someone pointed to the bear, that was up in one of the trees. I watched it for a few minutes, but was unable to get any pictures of it. There were too many leaves, blocking any good pictures and the park rangers were keeping everyone away.
The next day, we took a trip over the smoky mountains. The pictures don't do the view justice!
Here's Kitty and Harley... On top of the world, at Clingman's dome. The highest point in Tennessee..
Here's the state line... Down the hill a bit, from Clingman's dome..
We also stopped by the Great Smoky Mountain railroad..
Not many of these left!
Of course, our "Sunny" radar was always on.. This one was in Maggie Valley, NC
I wonder if these guys carry tomahawks....
Here's what we were tooling around in.. In 3 days, we put over 400 miles on it! It's a Dodge Avenger... 2012.
Kitty loved driving it, but I chauffeured her around most of the time!
Sunny radar worked like a charm!
We also went by the TVA Douglas dam. Mostly, because I was curious.. They have two beautiful campgrounds! One above and one below the dam!
Here's the dam itself:
Lower CG:
Upper CG:
There is also a huge boat ramp, at the upper CG..
Here's our site at Riverside CG.. The site wasn't quite long enough, so I had to back Sunny past the concrete patio. I had to use lego blocks, to make Kitty an additional step.. It worked great!
There's lots more pics, but this post is pretty long now... We had a great time and can't wait for the next vacation!
