trailer insurance in massachusettes HELP

we just bought a 1995 sunline 27 footer and i cant get a tag for it or register it because it exceeds the weight of my insurance company which is Geico...so i called around and the only way i can get a tag or an RMV! form is to switch insurance agency's,, but i get such a good deal with geico (1700$ less then the cheepist one) that i am at a total loss on how to get a tag for my camper,, Massachussetts is such a critacal state, and i am at a loss on what to do,, ca anyone help me

MA has lots of problems with insurance.. I've read that there are very few companies that will underwrite in MA. I've also read that it's the government there, that is the main reason. If you have Good Sam, you could try their GMAC insurance.. It's worth a try!

Take to an official weigh station and have it weighed might be lighter then it's listed weight.

Since Geico doesn't insure TT in MA you need to either change insurance carriers or change states.

You may be able to get a policy on just the camper and not have to move your auto. But if you are talking to other agents it may be worth your time to get quotes with both options.

If you call a local RV store they may also have a recommendation.
