Sunline's Sure Hold Up Well
I hope this doesn't happen to any of us!! These pics almost made me cry.

I'd hate to see the interior, I'm sure it's a mess.
This proves one thing; Sunline's can sure take a lot of abuse. Another brand wouldn't even still be in one piece.

There was one like this at the factory when Cindy and I did our tour. Carl told us it had rolled over on I-95 in Florida and the guy towed it back to PA!! That tells you something about the build quality

Pat,
Was that a 1950? I think I saw that when I was there in June '06. LaRue told me it was blown over in FL on the way to a show, but I don't remember if she said where, and if she did, I don't remember. She said they were going to try to repair it by stripping it down to the frame, seeing if the frame was bent, and if it wasn't, they'd rebuild the coach on that frame and sell it as a rebuilt unit.
Here's a pic I took of it. It's the one on the left just behind the fence:
I don't know if Carl let you go inside that thing, but I got to and it held up extremely well. Only one cabinet was cracked right in the center, and that was the OH cabinet over the stove/sink.

No that wasnt the one. This one a guy was towing down the expressway when a storm blew in and blew the thing over at 55 MPH!!
He said that even the state troopers couldnt believe that once the wrecker rolled it back over, they just hooked it back up to the truck, and the guy pulled it away. He said that in all the years of seeing wrecks, he had never seen one hold up so well.
I guess the guy was having the skin repaired and was going to go back out traveling in it. I just hope I never get to test this type of durability.

Me too!!!
I very well could be the same one. This one flipped on its right side. If you look at the pic again, you'll see the awning was ripped off, and if you look even closer, you'll see the entry step is bent in.
On top of all that, the LP tank baseplate was bent, one of the front frame crossmembers was bent, and then pretty much anything else on the DS got forced off. It's amazing, from a distance, it really doesn't look like it's damaged. Get up close and that reveals the scratches, dings, and damage.
If this isn't the one, Sunline owners sure hit some bad luck in '06!

OK, I'll jump on this thread too. Jan and I saw one that was being towed and rolled when we were there in JUIne of '06. It may have been one of these, I didn't take a photo. It too only had damage to the skin. The interior looked normal.
That's why we own another one now.
