What's you Sunline's Name?

Did you name your coach?

We call ours the "What?" because 'que' is 'what' in Spanish.

I call mine "Sunny", I know not very original, BUT this way when something goes wrong I can BLAME it on "HIM" Actually I have (2) hims, the truck is "Blue" and HE did cause me trouble this evening. He would not start , he was pouting because I had not driven him for 25 days, so that required some charging time.

Geesh, can't even depend on mechanical men

Hey Kitty,

At least you can re-charge the mechanical man.

We have not named our coach. Just refer to it as the "camper". We should think of something to call it.

And I thought we where the only ones with "The Camper"... Seems like your PA "camper" has a relative over here in Ohio.

Have not named "her" yet.

That's funny. We usually refer to it as the "camper" also.

We both felt that over time, a name will just pop up. Right now we jsut refer to the entire set up as the "Fun Train"

But the camper itself hasnt gotten it's own name. We dont even know if it's a he or she yet, so we had better wait till we can figure out it's sex, before we name it anything.

I think in Kitty's situation, when you're a single woman, of course everything is going to be a man's name, this way you have a male name to yell at

No special name here either--just The Camper (sounds like royatly that way).

However, if we are with strangers, I find it amusing to refer to it as the "Summer/vacation home at XXXXXX", where you fill in the X's with last place you were.

Keeps people guessing about your net worth !

We call the Sunline "Mommy's Charger" because the new Dodge Chargers came out about the same time as we were buying the Sunline and MDFIREGAL really wanted a Dodge Charger, but she got the SUNLINE because it would be more fun with the kids!!!

Our "new to us" 04' Ram 2500 is called "Daddy's Mack" because I would really like to find and buy the 1965 Mack C-85 (sound familiar?!?!?) Fire Engine that I started on in the Fire Department. First Engine I rode on as a Firefighter and drove as an Engineman. But again, practicality and fun with the kids won out!!

OK, who is gonna start calling theirs "The Coach" as we all know we have coaches NOT trailers

Eman, you got it right, I do need to yell at a man sometimes. But Sunny knows how much I love him, and he really knows how well I treat him. He is one spoiled rotten Sunny

When Mark said they call it the Summer House, that reminded me of CIndy calling our Coach "The Cabin"

Some one asked where we were staying and she said "Oh, we have a little cabin over on the lake" She then looked at me and gave me a wink, while the other couple raised their eyebrows like we were some big timers...LOL

Kitty, by the sounds of the way you treat Sunny, he has to know that he's spoiled rotten!!

I guess I just refer to mine as "my trailer" because my parents have their own trailer and motorhome, so "camper" would cover all three and get very confusing. Best of all, no matter how much I correct him, my grandpa always calls it a "Sunliner". What an insult . (He's getting better now!)

Uh-oh; ours is just "the camper" too! I'd say mostly because we haven't spent enough time with it yet to provide it with an affectionate name.

Good luck with your dream MACK! Some of my best memories with the FD were driving/riding the old open cab C-95, especially in the winter when snowing! But, that's gone now, just like my certs. I'll get back to it again someday... right now my family time is more important!

Sorry, I'm still catching up with these older posts. Sue & I decided to call ours "LUCKY" because his final inspection was 11-07-06 so we are very lucky to get him and he is lucky he was even made at all. Hope the luck doesn't stop!!

Hmmm, We just call ours Travel Trailer. But.........my 1962 Galaxie is "Milky Way", license plate is MLKY WY because it is a big, white, long, sleek, Galaxie. I mow my few acres with a 1953 International Farmall Super C called "Big Red." Guess we'll have to get clever and pick a name for the TT.

Well most of the time we call ours the Q, because we love how little it is...But since my nickname is Susie Q, I like to call it Susie's Q, and hubby likes it too... but I dont want it to sound like I think it's all mine..we love it though.
