Ready To Go Sunline Again
Hi Everybody,
I know that I have not been active here for quite a while, but I do follow along on the Facebook Page. I've been reading, and I'm glad to see so many of the names that I recognize.
Amanda and I are still Sunline fanatics, we have a 1985 T-1650 tucked away in the garage that someday I'll find the time to spruce up. We've used it once in the last three years, but it's just a bit too small for a man of my size...lol. My brother and his family use it once a year to go on a small family vacation, it's easily towed by their Highlander.
We currently have a 2015 Coachmen Catalina 333RETS, but are seriously thinking of coming back to a Sunline. We have looked at so many different trailers and fifth wheels over the years but I still find myself comparing every one of them to a Sunline. So if anyone knows of a nice Sunline sitting around looking for a new home, give me a shout. We want something around the 30' range, with a slide. I have a few lines in the water already, but I'm open to suggestions.

Being in Sunline country here, we’ll keep our eyes open and be happy to pre-inspect anything near us. Is your 1650 mostly original?

The 1650 is pretty vintage. It has a newer AC added to it (thank God) and the original fridge is gone, but other wise original. The fabric needs redone, as its thin with age. The water heater wasn't winterized properly and has a split, but I have a new one ready to go in. We'll get around to polishing her up someday, but for now she is tucked away in the garage protected from the elements.

Hi Lowell,
Good to hear from you again.
On your Sunline search, any particular year (or years) or model (or models) that would be high up the list?
And yes, I hear you on comparing everything you see back to our Sunlines. I keep fixing whatever has issue on the T310SR. I have not yet found any new one close to what have in this one. It is still in great shape and lots of camping years yet to go with it. And I even now have 2 project campers too... in varying states of repair.
Thanks
John

Hi Lowell,
I know you really want another 295SR, and I think we can try to find one! May not be THE one, but one like it. Take it from me, having one like the one you want, even if it isn't THE one, is still very worth it.
But, I could also see you liking that 249SR from NJ. The CL listing has now expired, so it may not have sold, but Jim (jw52f) can probably put you in touch: http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...tml#post143990

Hello HAPPY, . i also had drifted away from forum / club here as we built a new house north of Chattanooga, Tenn near lake.. Shaded back yard where three 28 ft stuff visited during solar eclipse last summer.... No leads on SunLine with slide . Not sure if many ever built.?? We looked for tad smaller in the 26 ft range with big booth Slide.. Bought only one mile away in seasonal campground was a SUNNY BROOK. Maybe a 1997 year nice interior oak wood, rear Queen with privacy door,, Dual exit door model. etc.. Very happy with rig , was $4,500 range. Try sto post / attach pic here , but rusty with album...
