No more Sunline....

Well, after much debate and consideration, we have traded our 2553 for another brand of camper. Our first camper will always be special and we appreciate all the help many of you have provided as we learned the ins and outs of camping

I hope 'once a member - always a member' applies here, even if we do not own a Sunline, as this has been one of nicest group of 'forum friends' I have ever met on the net.

I am sure I will see some of you on other forums and I will stop by from time to time to see how everyone is doing!

Thanks especially to all those who answered my many questions and sent me literature on campgrounds, and other helpful efforts.

Happy Camping to all!

Later,

David & Cherie

Good luck with your new camper. I hope you get to spend many happy trips and vacations with it.

Just my opinion, but considering that it would be unlikely to expect many people to continue camping in an old camper (I'm an exception here), if members are not considered part of the group after trading to another brand, this club will fade away not too long from now. The newest Sunline anyone can buy today is two years old and that number will keep getting higher.

Amen to that, Rich.

One of the wonderful things about sunlineclub.com is the total absence of everything that's annoying about some other forums. No bickering, no flame wars, no sarcasm, on an on.

If we don't hang on to our members, regardless of what brand RV they move to in the future, we'll just shrink away as you say.

I am all for keeping this going for as long as possible.

Glad to hear I will be welcome.

As to new trailer, it is a Forest River Sierra 291RL. It is not a Sunline, but we do like the layout and additional room.

I will be back from time to time.

Thanks again!

Later,
David
