It's officially ours
Gave the bank our final payment today. Only 9 years and 1 month early. :P
I guess they didn't make much interest on us.

Ok, Mike & Dan-
Do you have these problems/quirks in your trailers, since ours is a 2004, and you have a 2005 and 2006?
- we cannot open the front door (bdr) when the awning is down because we cannot hook it in place. The awning arm is in the way.
- the lvr tv connection is on the side of the tt, on the fridge vent.
- the remote for the lvr tv also does funny things to the stereo. It will sometimes turn on (the stereo) when changing channels on the tv or even adjusting the volume. Sometimes the stereo turns on all by itself, maybe we have ghosts?? So the 2 of these are obviously on the same circuit.
Anything 'weird' with yours??

Hi Alice
There are 2 things in your list that is not specific to your model or camper year. They exist on many models and years.
The door with the awning arm. This is how we overcome that. Cindy made a material band with a Velcro snap together on it to go around the awing arm. This prevent the door from getting chipped. I store it in a zip lock bad in the front cargo hole. You can see a yellow band in the pic. And I use a rubber tarp bungee to hold the door firm against the awing arm. Hooks in the holes in the awning arm and the door handle. Had to do this on both our campers. Not the best pics as having one with the door open was hard to come by and I had to zoom in on it.
The TV connection, well don’t know about that one.
The infamous ghost on the radio. Yup, that is a classic pain in the neck. It has happend to many here. Kitty tipped me off on this. But there is some help. On the radio there is a deep purple dot about 1/8 to 3/16” oval. It is on the black band of plastic across the front of the radio. That is for the radio remote. When you flick the TV channels pending brand of TV, the radio does spastic things…. If you put black electrical tape over the purple dot it helps. I never had this problem until I went to digital TV. The old analog set it never bothered it by now….. Sometimes you need 2 or 3 pieces of tape over it. If you can’t figure out where the dot is, I’ll get a pic with and arrow pointing to it.
Hope this helps
John

OMG - you mean we don't have the only 'unique' trailer, lol?
Thanks for the advice about the door, will do that as well.
About the purple dot, is it right under the words "alarm set"? There is a purple dot there. WOW, if that helps, black tape is an easy solution. BIG thanks for that one.

The purple dot is here.
The black electrical tape helps for sure, but I'm going to have to try this approach as the signal still sneaks thru mine every now and them WAMO the radio turns on almost full blast... just for changing a channel on the TV.
1. Small piece of electrical tape over dot area.
2. Put a small piece of aluminum foil next on top of the tape and dot area.
3. Cover again with small piece of black electrical tape so you do not see it.
Kitty tipped us off to this a while back. Seems those who have gone to the digital TV first seemed to have found this “unique” feature in the radio we never knew even existed or that we ever had a remote for….

Hi Alice
yes I too have the haunted stereo that turns on with the tv remote and as far as the front door I us a bungie cord or something like John has come up with , now for the tv I have the cable hook up at the rear of the street side off the coach when I hook up campground cable to that both the bed room and lv room tv,s both work , I do recall you having an issue with that from a previous post they must have changed something with the way the 2004 was wired for the cable or it was miss wired in your camper , and if my memory serves my right 2004 was the first year for the 264 sr it was a 260 sr before that , it was very simular to our floor plan so they may have refine somethings after 2004 good luck and happy camping Dan

Alice,
We don't use our bedroom door, so we never gave it much thought. We don't even bother to put the steps down.
I knew about the problem with the radio and the remote, but we never had that problem. I even tried pointing the remote right at the radio, but could never get it to do anything.
As for your cable hookup above the fridge, that one's just a mystery.

Hi Alice,
Something is certainly screwed up with the cable setup. I suspect your coach has the patio party pack or some version of that and the thing on the patio side is actually just a cable hookup for having a TV out under the awning.
There should be a cable hookup on the shelf above the refrigerator. If you don't see one there, look in the owner's manual at the order sheet (white page with all the numbers and dates on there that I collect, with a Sunline logo in the upper right). See if about half way down the page there's a note or something that would indicate some option or special order item that might indicate a modification to the cable system.
Jon

Kathy & Leo - just get rid of the house, like we did! Piece of cake, no more mtge payments, no cutting grass, no shovelling snow, no phone bills, etc, etc. Life is good! (But also, no place for all my 'stuff', lol).
To the guys: Ron originally thought that the TV connection was exactly that: for a TV outside. But it isn't. The connector in the bdr is wired to the back of the trailer, the connector above the fridge goes to the fridge vent outside on the awning side. But...we still have to connect it way in the back to the campground source, so we need a long cable. But they are definitely 2 different independent systems. But definitely something we can live with, we just happened to have a long TV cable.

In the refrigerator vent??? Something's fishy here. Maybe you could pull the plate off the wall above the shelf and see if there's an extra set of wires in it?
The patio party pack addition would be another plate just like you connect it on the utility side. This sounds added in by the previous owner.
I wonder if this was a system set up so that he could have satellite on the main TV and he put a satellite dish off the awning side and wanted to eliminate running such a long cord.
Do you have any pics of the door side connection??
Jon

Mike & Roz,
I apologize for hijacking this topic, so I will move my photos to another section. It is SO easy to get side-tracked...
Hugs,
