Hello All

My wife and I have relocated from Sandpoint Idaho to Pennsylvania.

Our ranch in Idaho has not sold yet, thus we decided to buy a Sunline Solaris (T-2363) travel trailer for temporary living accommodations.

Cheap mobile living as we see it.😁

Welcome! No better way to settle into the great state of Pennsylvania than with a keystone state born and raised brand of RV! What year is your 2363?

Thanks,

I must admit that going from a 3K sf home to a 20' travel trailer has been a challenge.

I hope our ranch will close prior to the first freeze. I'm not sure how or if I can continue living in the camper over winter

Welcome to PA..I live near Scranton..You??? I owned a 2002 2363--really liked the floorplan and spent six months in FL in it. We spent some 20 degree weather in it and didn"t have a problem keeping it warm. However, that was for a week or so at a time-don't think an entire winter would work on a fulltime basis. We used our furnace but mostly an electric heater. I would worry about the water hose freezing and the exterior sewer tanks...I have experienced the freezing up of both. Good luck and welcome to our group! If you are ever in my area pm me for a gettogether!

Hello Janalee!

We're in Fort Loudon PA, close to Cowans Gap State Park. It's south on 81 and East on 30 from Scranton.

Worst case scenario, I should be able to insulate under the camper well enough to resist freezing.

All that said, We're really hoping to have a home before winter, or at the very least a shop to park our camper in while we build our home.

Welcome flymerc!

While your Sunny may be parked for the time being while you build your home, consider camping later on in it. There are a lot of places in PA to to camping and Sunlines are very much alive and well in campgrounds in PA. No so many in Ohio but PA is loaded with them being the factory was PA based.

Hope things work out for you on the house and property sale. Both can be trying at times.

If you need any help with the camper, just ask away.

Thanks

John

Our 2363 is a 2004 model.

It was lightly used, never cooked in and the black water tank was clean enough to make me think the head was never used.
