Not too bad, for three afternoon's work... I have to get Kitty figuring out what she wants for a floor. She's leaning towards one-piece vinyl, but I have never installed it before. I still have to get the exterior sealed and cleaned, once I get the interior done. I may get some help on Sunday...

One piece vinyl is a snap. Steve and I did our kitchen in an afternoon. Make the pattern out of paper, cut out the vinyl, and glue it down. We used a high quality Armstrong product and bought their pattern kit. The hardest part is going around things and into the pantry. Our kitchen has a pantry, the fridge nook, a window box and 3 doorways. So I guess saying it was a snap is making it sound a little easier than it actually was LOL. But, truely it wasn't that hard.

Work on the Sunny has been postponed, while storm preparations have been made. Like the last big storm, I now have Sunny 18 ready for use, should the need arise. Generators are at the ready!
Back to the floor repair......
I looked at where my first piece of plywood needs to go and noticed something.. The gap between the floor joists and the bottom of the cabinets seems to have closed. There used to be about 5/8" between them and now there is only about 3/8". I'm not sure how to remedy this situation, or how to work around it. My only theory, is that the cabinets have pulled down by gravity. I tried pushing them back up, but it was no use.
Any ideas?

Gary, check the gap out at the wall. Is it 5/8" out there and 3/8 out in the middle of the floor? And in your case the entire wall may have dropped a little straight down.
Over time the wall may have sagged in some tipping it in. If so a push on the wall up high may gain you a little room to slide the new floor under it. If it dropped down maybe a jack may help with a 4 x 4 along the length to help lift.
These walls flex... I now have to reset the front door. A year or so ago I reset the rear door. The whole camper has flexed slightly I think. They are only 2" x 2"s... the glue and paneling along with side create the strength.

Actual progress today!
Kitty has had several visitors in the last couple of days. Rich & Barb (vcrt) came over Thursday evening and some of the conversation was about the 2653 floor. Yesterday morning, I got a PM from Rich and he let me know he was available to help us today.
I was thankful for Rich coming over. With everything that has gone on with Kitty, my brain is fried. Rich had the plan!
One of Kitty's best friends also came to visit this weekend. His name is also Rich. It got confusing from time to time! Lowell and Amanda (Happy Campers) stopped by for a visit with Kitty and I put them both to work. Amanda graciously accepted the task of "Kitty sitting" and that allowed us to get to work.
We got started today, by replacing missing wood. The treated 2x4's went in , as well as an extra 2x3. Rich also cut 2x3's and ran them along the center line. We butted the plywood together in the center and needed something along the joint.
I also bought foam board insulation. The fiberglass wasn't very thick to begin with and the foam won't hold moisture like the fiberglass did.
This is the extra 2x3. We wouldn't have had anything to secure the plywood to, had that not been there.
The first piece of plywood to go in, was along the front. With the limited clearance below the cabinets, it was much smarter to begin this way. It also helped hold the rest of the cabinets a bit higher.
Yes Richard.... They get insulation too....
Getting the piece below the fridge and stove was a bit tricky. Rich and Rich had to do a lot of trying, to get everything in place. There was always a hidden screw in the way!
Looking good so far!
We tied up the wires and water lines. I will drill the holes for the furnace propane line and the low point drains tomorrow.
Thanks to Rich, the last open section in the last picture was filled in, using a single sheet of plywood. He did all the measuring and cutting and I was surprised how well it fit! He did have to trim it a couple of times, but it fit very well!
All in and ready for the carriage bolts, leveling and linoleum!
A huge thank you! goes out to Rich, Richard, Lowell and Amanda for their help today!

Kitty had some company yesterday and even got a manicure/pedicure! That gave me time to get a bit more done on Sunny 19.
The replacement lug nuts finally arrived.. UPS lost the original ones between here and Georgia.. I got Sunny's new shoes on:
I had also bought 20 carriage bolts, to replace the rusted ones I removed. Philip and I got the holes all drilled and the new bolts installed. Wouldn't you know it?!?! I bought 20 of them and needed 21! The bolts I replaced were 5/16" and I have a bunch of 3/8" for the utility trailer. Sunny got 1 3/8" carriage bolt... I didn't take any pictures, as I got a piece of sawdust in my eye and was unable to get it out. I ended up going to an eye doctor this morning and he was able to remove it. It did scratch my cornea up quite a bit, so my vision is quite blurry right now...
Also... I was able to get the vinyl samples back to the flooring shop yesterday and ordered the new vinyl flooring! It should be here Friday. I'm going to have them install it, so I won't have to be away from Kitty that long.

Those new shoes look good.
Bummer about the sawdust in the eye. Take care of it, hope it heals quickly.

Those look great!!! Glad things worked out with Tredit and they helped with the lost parts. They do seem to be a real stand-up company.
Hope your eye gets better soon!

I wonder how one would look with the 22" rims with skinny tires.
I see you have the TT jacked by putting more boards under the wheels. I bet that made it much easier to work below. It looks like you have about 5 inches of lift. I lift mine about 4 inches all the time. I figure the farther those rats have to jump the fewer will try.

I got them from Trefit tire. That is the company Sunline bought from.
www.tredittire.com
I dealt with the Georgia location, since they did not have what I wanted at their York, PA location. Even being the same company, I got a lower price from the Georgia location than I would have from the Florida location. I saved around $200, by going with Georgia.

I actually have the door side up 4.5", because there is that much drop under the carport...

Thanks for all the pictures. I was glad to see how many joists there are under the floor on these things. I have to replace a smallish bit under the toilet and was worried i would have to go a ways to tie into the support beams.
Nice work. I'm looking foreward to seeing the Linoleum go in. Also, did you find all sources of the leak? We had Delamination on our previous keystone and I have seen so much in our recent trailer search that Laminated exterior walls scare the heck out of me now.

I'm trying to keep myself busy, to keep from going nuts... Kitty's passing has been very hard on me and I don't look for it to ease up any time soon.
I found a burst pipe under the kitchen sink. I pressurized the water system with air and it was very obvious. It is hidden, but repairable. I will end up removing the sink, as that is the only way I can get to the pipe in question. I may be able to get to it by removing the stove, but I don't know yet.
