The T-1950 first came along in 1983, when the new model numbering system came. The T-1950 back then was the same as the 19 1/2' SB. That model lasted through 1985 when apparently Sunline realized like five front dinette/rear couch/ODS bath/DS kitchen models was a little excessive.
The current design of the T-1950 did come in 1994. It was really 1994.5 because it wasn't offered in the beginning of the model year and didn't appear in the brochure. There were quite a few 1950's in '94 considering it was a new model, but it was still a light year for production.
I don't know numbers for each year, but I can tell you what I have recorded now. I did read somewhere a Sunline employee was quoted during the 2006 model year that the most popular seller so far (I think it was about half way through the model year at the time of publication) was the T-1950.
If you know of someone looking for a T-1950 but has a limited budget, there were some '92 models that I checked that weren't the 1950 exactly, but there are some similar ones. Examples are the T-1850, 2051, & 2160.
Recorded coaches are as follows:
1994: 15
1995: 7
1996: 7
1997: 20
1998: 22
1999: 12
2000: 9
2001: 16
2002: 19
2003: 38
2004: 26
2005: 18
2006: 45
2007: 35
Total: 289
That represents about 7.87% of everything I have right now for all years, which is currently 3672. I have actually not input the info from 1993 and older for the unidentified coaches, so this does not include those.
