Kool little Sunline, and it looks like it's in fantastic shape. It will be nice to see it in person at the MnG. Can't wait to see the interior and the kitchen area.

I'd love to see pics of the in side. Is there a tiny bathroom in it? Does it have the outside kitchen?

Sue must really like you guys or she just wanted to get me off the couch. She made me go out to take the inside pictures in the brutal cold. BRRrrr. Anyways, here they are....................

This is looking inside at the door. Note the hole in the floor. This is where the pedestal for the table mounts..........

This is looking towards the back. The prior owners had a custom mattress made for it. I am going to try to get the original cushions made for it. They either fold for seating at the table or spread out for the bed.........

This is a shot looking towards the front.........

This is from the inside looking out the door................

We will just go around the inside of the camper starting at the front......

With the stoneguard up. Yep..............snow's still here...................

This is also the emergency window.................

Shelves on the back wall..................

And back to the door.......................

I thought I had better split the post into two parts as not to slow everything down too much. Here are the kitchen pictures...................

The fridge does not work but I'm sure I (Stoltzfus RV) can get it working..

Everything else works perfectly........................

A surprising amount of storage.....................

And a pass through to reach that beer..............I mean soda on a rainy day................

Hope you all enjoyed the pictures.

Pat.............I want to flip the axels back over to return it to original. I kinda like the low look of the Sunline. Just gotta be more careful when out & about. And no, the well actually collapsed last summer and would go dry on us when we would back-flush the softener. It just took that long before Sue could pry the money from my clinched hands. Man, a well is expensive to put in!!!!

Wanda..............it does not have a toilet but I found one on the internet that I may be interested in (Thanks Jon)

http://www.bumperdumper.com/bumper2.htm

Really, we will revert back to our pop-up days and tote the portable and a shower tent. That seems to work pretty well.

John..............gas milage going out was around 21 MPG and coming back we got around 15 MPG. Coming back we had terrible winds, around 25-35 MPH sustained. This may have skewed the results some, I don't know how much. They were crosswinds all the way across the country. Darn Alberta Clipper

Hope I answered everybody.............................

Thanks for getting off the couch to take the pics. It was REALLY cold out today...brrrr. We loved seeing them. I think Steve is jealous He proclaimed your Sunspot a "really cool little thing."

Marshal,

Thanks for the interior pictures. Now on to your GAS mileage, there was no way that your gas mileage was 21 mpg, you didn't get that kind of GAS mileage since you drove a diesel Your diesel averaged 21 mpg

Sorry couldn't resist

I guess I should have clarified..................I drove the Jeep this time. It is a 4 cylinder with a CVT transmission. It's a 2008 Jeep Patriot all wheel drive. It is Sue's. She made me get it after she had to drive her Scion XB home in the snow one night. She was not a happy camper by the time I got home couple hours later. It's a nice story, have her tell you one day

OOPS, my fault, I thought you used the truck to fetch it, and the jeep to move it around once you got it home. OH well, either way, it''s home, and its REALLY a KOOL KAMPER.

Mileage

We also lose about 6 mpg when we tow.

The reduction in mileage is mostly due to the frontal area. Our rig weighs 2200 pounds compared to your Sunspot's 1200 (guess). However both rigs have similar frontal areas.

We tow with a Honda CRV and get 20 towing and generally 26 mpg driving. By the way the Honda's good in the snow as well.

I like your Sunspot, truly cute and I expect fun.

safe travels,

Thanks for the pic's, really neat and cooking out doors!! My kind of camping!

Oh another that crossed my mind, I know they have wall to wall carpeting, but if those pics add up just right, it looks like you have wall to wall bedding Who sleeps by the door and who has to crawl over?

Have fun in that cool little camper.

John

Thanks everyone for taking a look at our "adopted" TT. Thanks for all the nice comments you have shared. I must post one more picture but I can't until I return from my Mother-in-Law's place (she does not have internet). I am taking it to Harrisburg behind the F-250. This should look pretty hilarious as it is not much taller than the tailgate. I will post it soon. I have to take the truck to Harrisburg for a load of firewood and it is too far to take both vehicles. Again, thanks for all the kind words.....................It helps ensures the trip to Colorado was worth it Take Care & Happy Holidays........................Marshall & Sue

What a cute little TT! I love it and loved seeing all the pics. I also love that "bumper dumper." With a privacy screen or the "shower tent" you have your own "comfort station."

I finally got the refrigerator working. The prior owners told me that it had never worked. I took the outside panel off and found that it was a three-way fridge, 12V, 120V & propane. I cleaned many years of dust, dirt & crud. I blew out the lines and stuff. I turned on the propane and fired it up. It worked fine on all three settings. I am a very happy camper. I'll post pictures next time I get to Harrisburg................I didn't have my camera with me the other day. Take Care..................Marshall

You mean, well you could have loaded it in the truck bed..... and in this case, it may actually really apply.

Now all you need is a VW Rabbit and you can pose for the cover of the Sunline brochure

This is for sure a cute little camper.

Just saw another sunspot today sitting at a local dealer. Don't know if it's there for service or if it was just traded in. Might have to call and ask.

It would be really good to be able to figure out how many Sunspots were actually produced. I know that there weren't many.
At Tear up the Adirondacks two weeks ago, one visitor asked me permission to take measurments of mine...seems the Grasshopper plans for a home-built very like the Sunspot lacks some critical dimensions.
