Flat Panel TV installation surprise !

Hello

This is a follow-up on the installation made by Edzius of the support for a flat panel TV.

I received the support ordered on eBay today, by wanting to install it I noticed that the shirt wardrobe was deeper in my TT.

The TT of Edzius is T1950 - 2007, mine is T1950 - 1999. There was no space to install the support there.

So as the shirt wardrobe is very solid I install the support there. The only modification that I made is to glue a piece of 1 x 4 inside the shirt wardrobe to reinforce the corner.

The television set only weighs 8 pounds and when we travel we put the TV on the bed, so there is no danger to damage the shirt wardrobe.

For the final touch I hid the wire in a snap-on wire protector.

We also use the shirt wardrobe to store our portable DVD.

We get back the original tablet of the television set as an extension for the kitchen counter.

My wife is happy of the result and I too, so everything is ok

Bonjour,

Nice job and thanks for posting the pic.

We may end up with one of these new flat screen deals as well when the digital age comes mandatory.

Thanks

John
