Aw, shucks! <blushing> Actually, it was one of the mods that I did early on. JohnB and others did a 1.5" lift (the thickness of a piece of 2x4), but being as tall as I am, I doubled up on the lift for my personal comfort. DW owns the couch, so I make the most of the my rocker as I can.
