Greetings all, my name is Dan I live near Buffalo NY and Ive been camping since 2001. Started out with a 97 Starcraft popup and quickly realized that we were gonna need a bathroom in our next RV having three girls under five years old at the time. Moved to a 2001 Starcraft Hybrid that was great for us but a couple of trips in the 40s with soaking rain saturating the tent ends sent us back out looking for a different RV. Ended up with a 2006 KZ Frontier with quad bunks and a hard sided queen bed. Great family camper and easy to tow. Sold it when girls began college. Plus they lost interest in going camping with mom and dad. 2019 bought a 2017 jayco “empty nester” flooplan which is now on a seasonal site. And of course the girls want to camp with us again 🙄. I recently realized I still wanted to be “mobile” on occasion and not have to tear down the Jayco and all that entales just to go to a state park for a long weekend
I quickly found two Sunlines posted for sale on Facebook Marketplace….. a 1991 and a 1998 Solaris T-2653. Both Sunlines appeared to
Be well maintained and cared for. I was also very aware of Sunlines reputation for quality and was always interested in them.
I ended up buying the 1998 and brought it home two days ago. Very clean and it shows minimal if any wear and tear inside. Very excited for this purchase and happy to finally own a Sunline!

Welcome Dan!

Congrats on your new Sunny! Good times are ahead.

This is the place for Sunline info; read on and ask away if you need help. We also like to hear about your camping adventures. I liked your intro story; history for sure repeats itself . We started in a popup as empty nesters, and after enough dealing with wet canvas, the hard-sided camper looked very much more appealing...

We bought our first Sunline 2004 T-2499 in Nov. 2004, new at the time as Sunline was still in business. What a beautiful camper. We upgraded in size to a 2003 T310SR in 2007 and still use it all the time now and well into the future.

Happy camping this year,

John
