Hi All:
Late last summer my wife and I ought our 15footer.
I retired about 2 years ago and we both like to travel and camp, except during rotten, lousy, yucky weather
this is our second travel trailer s our first was a 1973 17ft Glenelle
While this trailer might seem old to many, it's small and suites our needs as it is light weight
AC, w/heater, furnace, 2way fridge, stove and oven bathroom w/shower, AC inverter, Hot water heater, fresh water tank, plus grey and black. AC/DC lights all over.
It's really hard to believe how this smaller 15footer has all the amenities.
We bought a small trailer for the obvious reason of being able to go almost anywhere, any time. At 1,750LB dry and with today's gas prices it's easier to deal with. WE found that motels are too expensive and your confined plus any other reason you can come up with.
Our 15footer had a few small issues but we knew that when we bought it. Coming from a technical background it was hard to fix and replace needed things.
I have replaced all the interior lights to OEM most of the exterior plastic utility trim vent caps etc.. All new LED lights, brakes and bearings, all tires are new using
trailer tires.
Later last fall I R&R the front window and interior wall that rotted over time by a long term water leak. The hardest part was finding the proper wood grain design for paneling that sort of match the era correct interior. Since most of that paneling is obsolete thank you Home Depot for having exactly what I needed. I'll post a picture once the weather clears up (rotten, lousy, yucky rain)
