My experience has been that most gas station "pay" compressors are capped @ 32-36 psi, so the 50 vs. 65 is pretty much a mute point. Around our area finding a place with "free" air (also 50 to 65 psi) is slightly harder than finding the proverbial needle in a haystack!!!
The bigger issue may be that the heavier tire may ride rougher.
