repairs prior to selling T 2475
In giving our daughter's T-2475 a final going over and travel prep for the new owners I found two problems. The outside auxiliary shower had a leak. I purchased a new faucet assembly for the outside shower. This is the second one of those I have had to install. There is is an access plate in the bathroom to get to the connections so this replacement was not difficult.
The shower drain leak was no big deal either. Below the shower on the bottom of the trailer is also an access plate. In removing that, I found the leak was caused by dried and cracked plumber's putty on the drain flange inside the trailer. I removed the trap and the plastic nut securing the flange and installed a new putty seal. After things were tightened up the pressure test showed no leaks.
