New 60's or 70's sunline compact camper shell

Hey! Check out my latest purchase, an unidentified sunline bed camper. I am currently in the process of basically rebuilding the entire interior and replacing A LOT of rotten wood. It has to be old; whether it be from the 60's or 70's. I would like to know what I have, any input or information is appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi AHeppner

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club. It looks like you have a project there and the knotty pine your redoing looks good so far. Looking forward to pic of your progress. Your doing GREAT!

I can't help you much on the truck camper year. Sunline Fan here may be able to help. He is our resident Sunline historian. I do not know if the VIN tag is under the door sill plate inside like on the towable campers. Have you lifted up the door sill plate yet?

Good luck

John

At first glance, it looks like a 1975, 1976, or 1977. As John asked, have you looked under the threshold for a VIN tag? It should be there, a little stamped aluminum tag about 2"x1", stapled to the floor.

The model looks to be a 7' MR, or Mini-Runabout.
