Painting stove

I've been doing some remodeling on my kitchen in the camper, and the cooktop cover doesn't really match color wise. I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried painting it with a high temp spray paint? It's a 3 burner top with what i assume is porcelain coating. Kind of off white or almond color. I'm thinking maybe black bbq grill paint., but I've never tried it.

Hi Gary,

I have never used these folks, only heard of them. http://antiquegasstoves.com/

They re-porcelain old stoves. Have no idea on the cost, but you end up with like new porcelain finish you know is safe and will last.

By chance, have you looked up the Wedgewood part number to see if one if a new one is available?

Let us know how you make out. This is a good topic that I have not yet heard of a good solution. Repairing chips, yes, just not a total resurface.
