Smile My Little T-1950 So Cute!

My mods at this point are all cosmetic...I gave her a complete bath..including the roof! Detailed her inside and out...She just gleams!

I covered all the cornices, added a new wallpaper border to the bedroom and had a custom quilt and pillows made for the bed and jack knife sofa. Also added some * "glamping" touches for my maiden voyage this weekend at the Sunline Owners Club Michigan Chapter Meet and Greet! So excited!
I FINALLY get to use her after so much work (and $$)

Here is a LINK to the Photo Album

*Definition: Glamping, a new word for a new kind of travel, is defined as glamorous camping.

It's a good thing we kept you distracted last weekend and away from the TCT gathering in Milford... Lots of glampers there, and from the pictures I've seen, there were a number of spectacular trailers and sites decorated.

Joan;

So cute! Love your ideas. We bought our T-1950 nearly 3 years ago and it is still all original, but would love to make it mine! I've been working almost 10 years to make "our" home out of his and mine! A never ending project. Do you have the rocker? Did you recover it? You have your pelican, we have our frogs! As we bought the trailer and then our expy, there were little frogs in every cubby! Our daughter suggested "leap of faith" as it surely was. I'd RV'ed for 25 years and then tented for 15. He never did anything! One 3 month expedition and since then lots of week long trips. Now that gas is coming down, maybe we'll do more. Have a wonderful summer.

Thank you! I never recovered the little rocker but that's ok cause that spot is reserved for Emme'e food dishes and my little plug in fireplace if needed.

I like "Leap of Faith" Go with it and happy camping this summer!

Hello very nice re-do. We also have a 2001 T-1950 and we love it! Lucky for us it is like new inside original owners took care of it but the second owners left it sit outside during the cold winters and hot summers in VA. Decals are peeling off but I did find new ones to replace them. Hopefully we will make it to one of those Meets!

Smile More mods!

I bought a white rubber coated shelf for my kitchen and spray painted it "Flamingo Pink" Definitely adds more storage!
Flamingo Pink Shelf.jpg

And...I added a Flowerbox to the kitchen window! I can see them from inside my kitchen too! The flowerbox was light weight and I used a coconut liner and a new potting mix by MiracleGro called expand'n Gro. Its light weight and holds water. I used S hooks for holding hanging plants to hang from the window..The entire flowerbox planted is very lightweight

I have never seen a Sunline with a window planter box, but I agree, that's a neat idea. Some load up with a bunch of kids riding toys, some load up with a bunch of old Sunline memorabilia, some load up with a bunch of glamping equipment...
