Ideas for hanging clothes!!

We love our Sunny !! It does a great job for us! There is one issue. The closet is kind of small for the two of us. As we use ours up north (Minnesota) we have warm clothes to account for. We have a bar across the shower to hang additional items, but it has its issues. On occasion it slips off. Oh goody.

Has anyone added hooks or a bar that will hold heavier clothing items? I am not sure enough of where to run a screw in for brackets.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you!

In our 2753 we had a bar all the way across the foot of the bed. We bought it at Home Depot. The supports were screwed into the wood studs on the side walls and the ceiling. Clothing hung above our feet when sleeping. We loved it!

Hi Boomer,

What year and model camper do you have?

Each floor plan and the year has different places to mount things to the walls etc. Knowing what you have may help trigger some thoughts.

How many heavy items are you looking to hang?

I added a 3/4" thick pine board to mount heavy coats to in our 2004 T2499. It worked great when you walked in or out of the door. See here.

The pine board screwed into wall studs on both ends allowing me to mount along the board out in the open. I stained and varnished the board to match the maple cabinets.

Hope this helps.

John
