When will this "white precipitation stop"????
Here I sit, taking a break during work, looking out the window and still see that "white stuff" falling from the sky. Weather man said a trace to 1" - woke up this morning to at least 10" and it is still snowing!
Has anyone seen signs of spring yet?????
Oh by the way HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

OK - For those of you in the snowy north, here is a shot of early spring from Georgia taken last weekend. This was taken at Providence Canyon State Park.
Later,
David

Spring Next Week?
Leo and Kathy:
Jan and I watched pictures from the October Meet and Greet last night supplied by Mike (Mbart5fan) and Judy. Fall pictures, first day of Spring and it was snowing like crazy! Next week looks better, but keep the plow on!

The "white stuff" missed us today but boy is it cold and windy today. It was real nice here yesterday, high around 40. We still have plenty of the white stuff on the ground from the storm two weeks ago. Wish it would hurry up and go.

Jon -
You look very relaxed stitting beside your MH in 78 degree weather. Be glad you are not at home here in the midwest. I heard on the TV weather stats this morning that Grand Rapids has had a total of 100.4 inches of snow this winter. Fortunately, here in Indy we have had only a total of 24 inches, so far. However, most of that came down in 2-3 inches at a time that really messed up the rush hour traffic, etc. In fact, it is snowing here in Indy right now as I write this (Sat, Mar 22). So - be thankful that you are there (wherever that be).
Have an enjoyable Easter Weekend!
Jim

Kathy,
We got about half of what you got from that storm, now if it would only start melting. Temps don't want to get above 30 degrees though. It's got to change soon with April just around the corner. I'm ready for camping season.
Happy Easter everyone.
Mike

Here in South Central PA the weather just can't make up it's mind. One day it'll be close to 70 and the next it is back to below 30 and snowing. Yesterday, Saturday March 22, we had a light snow. I'm so ready for Spring.

As a former New Yorker from Syracuse, I can relate to your impatience with the lingering winter. that is one of the reasons that I escaped to sunny Florida where I now am basking in 80 degree warmth. it's also great go camping all year.

We had a very strange storm go through our area last night. Some places got virtually nothing, and others got the proverbial "dump". Especially hard hit were those areas (well known to folks in the Rochester, NY area) called "the higher elevations south of Routes 5&20" which is where Gail and I live. our hill is nearly 1700 feet above sea level.
Our snow plow guy called this morning to see if we needed to be plowed out. Apparently some of his customers in our area have clear or nearly clear driveways. We got 8" as of 10 AM this morning, so Gail nicely asked him to "come on up..."
This says it all:

YUK!!!! That is like the 20 inches we aquired a few weeks. Came in 2 days, gone in a week.
This just reminds us, Mother Nature is in control...
Hopefully a week from now you will be back to mud...
John
